I rarely get the tube, I would rather walk, and everywhere is pretty walkable in central London for the average person.

Yesterday I had to get the tube during rush hour, it’s pretty hideous.

An obvious change which would ease the crowding inside the carriages & increase capacity a fair amout, would be to make the seating foldable, so during rush hour the seats are folded up & increasing carriage capacity.
