Saw an article this morning saying that about 20% of US funeral parlours offer live streaming services.

My initial reaction was probably like yours, something like ‘thats just wrong’

But after thinking about it, more so in the US than the UK, I wonder how many families can’t make a loved ones funeral due to the travel costs of commuting across the vast country.

Not to mention the diversified world we live in today, many people will be living in opposite sides of the world from their families, costs, and some religions demand that the funerals happen very quickly after passing making it impossible for some people.

Technology is changing everything we touch and every part of our lives, funerals never came to mind but it makes perfect sense in todays world.
