Reading this morning about Europe applying new regulations on tech giants backed with massive fines.

Made me realise I had totally forgotton about GDPR.

Me as a person.

Still get loads if SPAM emails.

Still get loads of SPAM texts.

Still get loads of SPAM phone calls.

So no different to pre GDPR.

The smaller companies who are responsible for the majority share. (In my experience)

Will carry on.

The big companies will only fund GDPR for so long.

What happens when the funding stops?

Nice idea.

But to really work needs to be taken away from governments & led from the inside.

Decentralization.
