We recently visited a friend, whilst we were there he was working on painting & sculpting Subbuteo figures.

They start off plain with no colour or character (unfortunately didn’t get a picture)

As they get some colour they start to come alive.

Then Ruud Gullit is born & ready for action.

Not sure whats most impressive the patience or the detail.

He has created his Saturday league football team in Subbuteo figures as well.

I know some of the players and you can quickly recognise their Subbuteo alter egos.
