Robinhood are the pioneers of zero commission trading.

In recent months many of the old boys like TD Ameritrade, Schwab etc have been forced to follow suit in some form or another.

Its now filtering through here in the UK, an email I got this morning:

What’s more, you’ll qualify for our new lower commission rate of just £3 for UK shares – helping you to keep more of your returns across the board.”

The brokers battles on trading commissions are now being fought on new frontiers.
