Walking around it seems as though everyone is consumed by things in, or on their ears.

Every other person seems to have a pair of airpods in their ears (another killer product by Apple). And those who don’t, are often buried under some large headphones.

The penetration of airpods is pretty amazing, I have never used any but a thought that keeps crossing my mind, have we created the perfect storm with the combination of airpods and Ubers.

A death or serious accident seems inevitable, people seem to have very little awareness of their surroundings when walking in airpod mode, even less awareness than your slient Uber driver.

Mass adoption of silent electric cars & ear devices hmm.
