Interesting blog post from Fred Wilson this morning regarding a new legislation to try & open up the web services of large corps (large in this case meaning over 100mm monthly active users).

The ACCESS Act has three main components that would apply to the largest tech platforms:

1. Portability
2. Interoperability
3. Delegatability

Would certainly be a game changer, its very hard for anything outside Facebook, Google, Apple etc to compete, & when someone does compete they typically get bought out, so they are no longer ‘competing’.
