Last week I was in Pembrokeshire for a few days. The towns & the locals we’re getting ready for one of their big annual events, Ironman Wales.

Each partcipant began with a gruelling 2.4 mile swim in Camarthen Bay, followed by 112 miles cycling throughout Pembrokshire and then to finish, a 26.2 mile marathon back to Tenby.

I would have loved to have been there spectating but unfortunately the dates didn’t work.

However I was able to watch the event live on TV courtesy of Facebook Watch. I dont think I had ever heard of Facebook Watch before. (although I knew they were moving into the TV / live streaming space)

The coverage was excellent, all 10 hours of it, even on my 10 year old TV.

Luckily an Amazon Firestick turns an old TV into a Smart-ish TV.
